Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: June 20, 2025
1. PREAMBLE
This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") is supplementary to and an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of TAPE A TALE SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED ("the Company", "We", "Us", "Our"). This Policy governs the terms of refunds and cancellations for all tickets ("Ticket") purchased for events ("Event") through our website www.tapeatale.com or any associated platforms ("the Platform").
By proceeding with the purchase of a Ticket, you ("User", "You", "Your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be unconditionally bound by the terms of this Policy.
2. GENERAL POLICY: ALL SALES ARE FINAL
In consideration of the operational and logistical commitments involved in organizing live events with limited capacity, the Company adheres to a strict no-refund policy.
Upon the successful completion of a transaction resulting in the generation and issuance of a valid Ticket, the sale shall be deemed final and binding. The User shall not be entitled to a refund, cancellation, or exchange for any reason, including but not limited to, the User's inability to attend the Event, change of plans, or dissatisfaction with the event line-up.
3. EXCEPTIONS: CONDITIONS FOR REFUND ELIGIBILITY
A refund shall be processed only under the explicit and non-negotiable circumstances detailed below:
3.1. Event Cancellation by the Company:
In the event that an entire Event is formally cancelled by the Company, a full refund of the Ticket's face value will be processed for all affected Users.
3.2. Confirmed Technical Failure:
A refund may be considered in the specific case of a technical failure on the Platform, defined as a transaction where the User's bank account or payment instrument was successfully debited but no valid Ticket was generated or delivered to the User due to a verifiable error in our system. The User must provide valid proof of debit (e.g., bank statement) for verification. The Company's technical logs will be the final determinant in validating such a claim.
4. NON-REFUNDABLE SCENARIOS
For the avoidance of doubt, a refund shall NOT be issued under the following circumstances:
4.1. Event Postponement or Rescheduling:
If an Event is postponed or rescheduled to a new date or venue, the original Ticket purchased by the User will remain valid for the rescheduled Event. No refunds will be issued on account of such postponement.
4.2. Ancillary Costs:
The Company's liability is strictly limited to the face value of the Ticket. We shall not be liable for any ancillary or associated costs incurred by the User, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or subsistence expenses, even in the case of an Event cancellation.
4.3. Partial Attendance or Dissatisfaction:
No refunds will be provided for partial attendance, late arrival, or early departure from an Event. User dissatisfaction with the content, performers, or venue is not grounds for a refund.
5. REFUND PROCESS AND TIMELINE
5.1. Initiation:
a. For cancelled Events (as per Clause 3.1), refunds will be initiated automatically by the Company.

b. For technical failures (as per Clause 3.2), the User must raise a claim by contacting our refund support team within forty-eight (48) hours of the transaction.

5.2. Timeline:
Upon verification and approval of a valid refund claim, the Company shall process the refund amount within ten (10) to eleven (11) business days. A "Business Day" shall mean any day from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays observed in Gurugram, Haryana.
5.3. Mode of Refund:
All refunds will be credited back to the original mode of payment (e.g., credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking) used by the User during the transaction.
6. REFUND & CANCELLATION GRIEVANCES
For all inquiries, claims, or disputes related exclusively to refunds and cancellations, Users must direct their communication to the following designated contact:

Communications sent to any other email address regarding refund claims will not be considered valid.
7. FINAL DECISION
The Company reserves the right to make the final decision on all refund claims. The Company's decision, made in accordance with the terms of this Policy, shall be final and binding upon the User.
